Past Events
Community Day
Prospect Community Services holds its annual Community Day on the last Sunday of August. Community Day was first started in 1998 as "Get to know your Community Day" at Lissner Park on Father's Day, since than Community Day has grown into a event that showcases the community spirit that Charters Towers is known for. With over 200 stall holders and approximately 3000 community members attending, Community Day is an event that Prospect Community Services is very proud of.
Teddy Bear's Picnic
Prospect Community Services holds its annual Teddy Bear's Picnic in September, to raise awareness about Child Protection week. Teddy Bear's Picnic invites children from the ages of 0 to 5yrs old and are treated to a fun filled morning of arts and crafts and a visit from a life sized teddy bear!
