Prospect Community Services are proud to present the ‘Rural Recharge Charity Ball’.
The Charters Towers region has been drought declared for three years. This period has taken a heavy toll on the farmers and graziers in the area – both financially, and mentally.
The Rural Recharge Charity Ball offers live entertainment and guest speaker Sam Bailey, dinner provided, and ticket sales being donated to support the Black Dog Institute, the ‘Rural Recharge Charity Ball’ is a great opportunity for those affected to take some time to relax, get dressed up, have some fun, and connect with those in similar situations.
Sam Bailey is a C6/C7 quadriplegic who has conquered his disability to become a successful farmer, ultralight pilot, inspirational speaker, best-selling author and role model for children. His story has touched thousands of Australians of all ages and walks of life. His next goal is to become the first quadriplegic in the world to fly a helicopter and use it to inspire children to follow their dreams no matter what obstacles they encounter.
So come on! Put your best dress on, find your dancing shoes and party the night away all while supporting a great cause!
